ACG Houston’s Eighth Annual Deal of the Year Awards Name Five Chamberlain Hrdlicka Transactions as Finalists

April 1, 2025

On March 27, 2025, The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) announced the finalists of the Eighth Annual ACG Deal of the Year Awards. Five transactions led by Chamberlain's Houston based team received six nominations in four categories.  All five finalist transactions included clients of Habeeb ‘Hobbs’ Gnaim, Practice Chair of the Tax Planning & Business Transactions Group.

ACG Houston’s Deal of the Year Awards celebrate Houston’s booming middle-market deal community, honoring deals and dealmakers who drive economic and corporate growth, strategic impact, capital formation and the advancement of meaningful business relationships.

This recognition highlights continued excellence of Chamberlain Hrdlicka's Houston-based transactional and tax groups. Earlier this year, two deals led by Gnaim were honored as Deal of the Year at the 16th Annual Americas M&A Atlas Awards. In late 2024, Chamberlain Hrdlicka was named Law Firm of the Year at the 23rd Annual M&A Advisor Awards, where a Gnaim-led deal also earned the Energy Deal of the Year Award. Additionally, Gnaim was recognized as Lawyer of the Year at the 6th Annual USA M&A Atlas Awards.

"Chamberlain Hrdlicka's recognition as a finalist for five deals at the ACG Houston Deal of the Year Awards highlights our deep expertise in handling complex transactions and our M&A team’s dedication to driving value and success for our clients," said Larry Campagna, managing shareholder of Chamberlain Hrdlicka.
