Kevin Johnson Joins Tax Controversy & Litigation Practice Group
On May 9, 2024, Law360 Pulse published an article highlighting the addition of Kevin Johnson to Chamberlain Hrdlicka. Johnson rejoined as senior counsel in the Tax Controversy & Litigation Practice. He told Law360 in their recent interview that he wanted to rejoin the firm where he had great relationships with his former colleagues, including our firm’s Managing Partner Larry Campagna.
"It was a good opportunity to come back and join some old friends," Johnson said.
Johnson’s diverse background includes working at the IRS, where he gained valuable knowledge about tax law, which has been fundamental to his practice now. "Atlanta is one of the hotbeds for tax controversy at this point, because of the large number of both syndicated conservation easement transactions and captives insurance," Johnson told Law360.
