New Managing Shareholder of Chamberlain Hrdlicka San Antonio Office Named

Chamberlain Hrdlicka today announced that Jaime Vasquez has been named the managing shareholder of the firm’s San Antonio office.

“We are excited for Jaime Vasquez to begin as managing shareholder of the San Antonio office, and we expect the office to continue to grow and prosper under his leadership,” said Larry Campagna, Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s managing shareholder. “Jaime is a great community leader and a consummate lawyer. “

Juan F. Vasquez, Jr. served as the San Antonio managing shareholder since its founding in 2011. Under Juan’s leadership, Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s San Antonio office has expanded its footprint from two tax attorneys to a team of 16 attorneys, focused on tax and practicing commercial litigation, probate litigation, white collar crimes, business torts, ERISA and employee benefits, tax-exempt organizations, tax planning and tax controversy.

Jaime Vasquez concentrates his practice on federal, state, and international tax controversy matters. He has counseled clients in tax litigation matters, handling cases before the United States Tax Court, United States District Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is Board Certified in Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Jaime is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned his undergraduate and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce, his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, and his Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University. He's been named to Legal 500 in US Taxes: Contentious category as Next Generation Partner (2020 & 2021) and Leading Lawyer (2022 & 2023). He’s been named to Best Lawyers in America each year since 2018, including "Lawyer of the Year" for San Antonio for Litigation and Controversy - Tax by US News Best Lawyers in America in 2019, 2021, and 2023. He was also named “Outstanding Lawyer” and “40 Under 40” by San Antonio Business Journal. He is the 2020 recipient of “Lawyer on the Rise” Texas Legal Award from Texas Lawyer. Moreover, he has been named to Texas Rising Stars between 2014 – 2021 and Texas Super Lawyers (2022-2024).
