Zachary Cruz is an associate in the firm's International Tax practice.  

Prior to joining the firm, Zachary was a manager in PwC’s international tax practice in New York City where he developed an aptitude for delivering high-quality insights and strategic guidance to multinational corporations, helping them navigate an ever-evolving global tax landscape. In his seven years at PwC, his work involved extensive research and analysis on intricate international tax issues, such as reorganization planning, foreign tax credit optimization, legal entity integration, intellectual property migration, and debt restructuring.

A native of San Antonio, Zachary graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2014. While at UTSA, he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Lambda Honors Fraternity and attended the Summer Law School Preparation Academy in 2013.    

He then went on to Penn State Law on a full scholarship, receiving his law degree in 2017.  While at Penn State, Zachary was a volunteer with the Penn State Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic during which time appellate victories for two separate clients were won.  He also volunteered at the Penn State income tax assistance program.
