Profile

Marisa is an associate in the Commercial Litigation practice group. 

Prior to joining the firm, Marisa worked in the litigation group in the Houston office of a global law firm where she represented clients in complex commercial litigation in both state and federal courts.  Her practice largely focused on securities, transactional, and corporate governance-related claims. She also advised public and private entities outside of the litigation context, including on business combinations, securities filings, pre-litigation claim assessments and demands, stockholder demands, and other regulatory and compliance matters.

Marisa received B.B.A. magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business and her J.D. from Tulane University.
