Tom Cullinan Adds Insights to Law360 Article
In a recent article published on July 8, 2024, Law360 highlighted Atlanta-based Shareholder Tom Cullinan’s insights on the IRS announcing last month that they will continue the moratorium on processing new ERC claims.
The article wrote, “The agency's announcement changed the analysis about filing employee retention credit refund suits, said Tom Cullinan of Chamberlain Hrdlicka White Williams & Aughtry. While he used to advise clients to wait before going to court, there's no suggestion of when the moratorium will end and no way for businesses to know if their claims are among the low-risk group, he said.”
Cullinan explained, "For taxpayers that really need the money, or taxpayers that see a better business opportunity for their money ... this is what's left. We're going to start putting cases in court."
