Chamberlain Hrdlicka Announces New Leadership With Larry Carbo III As Managing Shareholder

ATLANTA/HOUSTON/PHILADELPHIA/SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 28, 2025 – Chamberlain Hrdlicka is pleased to announce that C. Larry Carbo III has been named as managing shareholder by the firm’s board of directors, effective Jan. 1, 2026. Larry A. Campagna, long-time managing shareholder, will assist Carbo in his transition throughout 2025. Following the transition, Campagna will refocus on his clients in his returning role as a shareholder at the firm. This announcement marks the culmination of years of strategic succession planning, emphasizing a continued commitment to exceptional client service, as well as targeted growth and innovation—organically and through external opportunities. Both Carbo and Campagna are based in Houston.

Carbo brings an impressive track record, having successfully led the firm’s nationwide commercial litigation practice and serving on its Board of Directors. His practice focuses on representing private companies in employment and general commercial matters. With over 30 cases tried to final verdict in state and federal courts, as well as before arbitration tribunals, his extensive experience covers a broad range of complex issues, including matters such as misappropriation of trade secrets, enforcement and defense of non-competition agreements and breaches of fiduciary duty, as well as breach of contract, executive compensation, shareholder oppression and fraud.

“Larry Carbo will be committed to advancing our strategic plan by continuing to attract top legal talent, particularly in the corporate, securities and litigation practice areas,” explained Campagna. “I had imposed a term limit for myself to ensure the firm is bringing in fresh leadership. Campagna has served as Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s managing shareholder since 2020. For the first time, the firm joined the Am Law 200 ranking in 2024.
